Interview with Jaron Styron – Marketing Program Specialist
Jaron has been with TireHub since the beginning, with many promotions demonstrating his commitment to TireHub’s customers. As a new Marketing Program Specialist, he is excited for new opportunities to say yes to customers. Read more about Jaron’s TireHub history below.
Please share a little info about yourself.
My name is Jaron Styron, and I am from Raleigh, NC. I have an associate degree in Art and a bachelor’s in marketing with a concentration in Analytics. I am relocating to the Atlanta area for my new role as a Marketing Program Specialist, but was recently the Assistant TLC Leader in Charlotte, NC.
How long have you been a Hubber (TireHub employee)?
I’ve been a Hubber since day 1!
How long have you been in the tire industry?
I’ve been in the tire industry for just over 9 years. I started as a 3rd party driver in Raleigh with Tire Wholesale Warehouse (TWW). After that, I joined TWW full time as a Material Handler, which was the best decision I ever made. Shortly after, TireHub was formed, and I continued there in the same capacity. Since joining TireHub, I have been promoted twice – first to TLC Coordinator, then Assistant TLC Leader. Now I am in my new role as a Marketing Program Specialist and excited to keep growing.
Do you have a favorite customer interaction?
I once had a dealer call after the cutoff time in need of a tire for a customer that was waiting, so I took it into my hands to have a Logistic Specialist go meet our driver quickly to get the tire on the truck so that the dealer was able to take care of their customer.
Describe your approach to providing exceptional customer service.
My approach to providing exceptional customer service is positivity and a smile – it is the same approach I practice with everyone because you never know who you will affect.
How is TireHub different?
TireHub cares about people and continues to show that every day.
How would you describe life as a Hubber?
My life as a Hubber is great. One thing about everyone here is that we mean business, but we all know how to have fun and enjoy ourselves when we’re at work.
What would you deem your greatest success since starting with TireHub?
I would say my greatest success has been keeping the smiles and enjoyment on fellow Hubbers’ faces. I truly understand the demands and complexity of receiving tires and also delivering them to customers. At the end of the day, it starts with our field teams. I thank them for their time and effort in giving our customers a great experience with TireHub.
