ATLANTA – June 28, 2019 – TireHub, the national tire distributor cofounded by The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company (Goodyear) and Bridgestone Americas Inc. (Bridgestone), today celebrated the opening of its newest TireHub Logistics Center (TLC) in Ft. Myers, Florida. This is TireHub’s first new market location, opened less than one year into the company’s operations.

Myers was the perfect fit for us. Our customers there have been previously served through TLCs in neighboring cities, and this expansion allows us to meet their needs with more frequent deliveries and exceptional personalized service. We are tremendously excited to have an official presence in the city.”

TireHub launched in July 2018 and operates 69 logistics centers in the U.S. As with all existing locations, customers in Ft. Myers will have access to the full passenger and light truck tire product lines from the Goodyear and Bridgestone companies, including Bridgestone, Goodyear, Dunlop, Firestone, Fuzion, Kelly and LeMans, as well as Toyo and select Goodyear and Kelly commercial tires.

The 35,000 square-foot location can hold 45,000 tires and is led by TLC Leader Robert Zelaya. Zelaya boasts more than 20 years of tire industry experience and most recently led a TireHub TLC in Sacramento, Calif. The team includes existing TireHub employees Nick Almeida, assistant TLC leader and Bobby Armstrong, customer relationship specialist, as well as five new logistics specialists from the Ft.
